style/cutscenes
I've recently been experimenting to a more messy and scary style for the cutscenes and important moments differing to the old style that was more clean and for me a lot more difficult to make look good
I was happy with the second image but I could not replicate that later to keep it looking good and later when drawing ones that were supposed to look scary they would all fall short, I've recently been sketching a lot just on random paper and I was really happy with how all these looked and I tried to replicate this in aseprite(the pixel art tool I use) but I couldn't get it to look right, however now I'm using a drawing tablet I have and procreate and then exporting it into aseprite and the colors to get a new more messy and uncanny look to the people which I'm happy with and they take a lot shorter to draw as using a pencil is a lot more convenient for me to use then a mouse.
these are still rough drawings and I'm not sure if any of them are final however I think that these are turning out a lot better for the type of game I want to make, this has been such a long project for me and there is still so much left but I love it and I love making this game, and I hope that I can keep working on it and making the game I've envisioned, I hope people like this style more and I hope I can continue to improve in my art and all other skills that I need to make this game like programing and music. thanks for reading this if you did <3
